Puppies either go home to their family to begin leash bonding, practicing their Power of Three Rituals transition acclimation - or -  they can stay with us for 2-4 weeks in our Puppy Charm School  program!






What Happens at Puppy Charm School, you ask?

  • A carefully and lovingly managed transition to a deeper schedule as they learn to be away from their litter mates for part of the day. 
  • Focus is on developing bonds and learning to speak dog through relationship.  This is imperative for any success with obedience training later on
  • Introductory Crate Training begins  
  • Introductory clicker training routines
  • Intro to the collar and leash during clicker lessons (a very gentle acclimation over time, starting with dragging the leash)
  • Introduction to a daily schedule 
  • Learning to be alone in their crate and pen
  • Outings and field trips that are safe while puppies are still building their immunity
  • Age appropriate vaccinations and worming schedule maintained
    • Upgrade to Raw Food if requested.  Must be requested in advance to accomodate ordering.

Leveraging years of experience with puppies and a deep understanding of canine behavior, we employ a unique litter box method in our puppy curriculum. This method encourages pups to use a designated area for pottying, sleeping, eating, and play, instilling a sense of order and cleanliness. The structured approach facilitates easy house training in the future.

Our puppies also benefit from scheduled daily playtime in our homes, involving exploration of the kitchen and house, along with specially designed obstacle courses. During these activities, we closely monitor the puppies for accidents, providing immediate intervention in a gentle way. We adhere to a philosophy of supervised exploration, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a clean and secure environment for the pups to learn and thrive.

Devoted to our puppies, we believe this approach is integral to producing high-quality companions. These puppies encounter every household sound during their formative weeks and receive extensive interaction with individuals of all ages, ensuring familiarity with human touch. Our commitment extends to meticulous attention to their development, cleanliness, nutrition, schedules, and potty training – a promise we uphold.

The feedback we receive affirms the success of our dedication, with reports indicating that everyone encountering our puppies is amazed at their exceptional socialization and friendliness. Sound socialization training  makes a positive impact on the quality of life for your new puppy. Your puppy will learn to accept and be perfectly at ease with sounds in general.  They will not be fearful, nervous, or uncomfortable by environmental sounds or stimuli once they are ready to go home with you!

  4. Learn through experience, the right and wrong way to discipline your puppy, with a trainer to oversee your progress- We also have monthly Q&A's to answer all your training needs!

Most importantly---we feel every family should experience how to train a pup the good old fashioned way---through work and daily practice.  There are some things in life that just cannot be bought for a price.  The experience and bonding you will receive from working together is priceless.

Your first steps while awaiting the arrival of your Habibi Bear

While your puppy is growing, we strongly encourage our families to make the most of this time by enrolling in the Habibi University Foundations preparation course and thoroughly absorbing the Human's Guide to the Dog Galaxy Course. This program is a true game-changer, crafted over years of addressing questions, troubleshooting, and responding to late-night calls and texts seeking guidance on various situations. Drawing on my experience as a Montessori teacher, I aim to provide visual guidance through flow charts and videos. The program meticulously breaks down every step into manageable chunks, ensuring you feel well-prepared in advance.

Avoid the mistake of waiting until the last minute to follow through, as this can lead to feeling overwhelmed and stressed with information overload. Instead, gather your family, watch the videos and lessons together, print out the flowcharts, and create your very own Success Station Binder. This binder will serve as your central hub for tracking activities with the puppy. It's a fun family project when done together. Each week, there will be activities to prepare for, and by taking it one week at a time, you'll feel less pressured to absorb everything in a single cram session. Planning ahead ensures that those last-minute puppy jitters become a thing of the past, replaced with excitement because you know EXACTLY what to do when your puppy joins your home!






  •  Decide your Companionship Type goals:  Do you want a well behaved family dog or do you need to start interviewing trainers in your area to train for service/therapy? Do you want to train at home with an online program?  We have some recommendations for you!  We have many resources to meet each family's individual needs. 
  • Do you want to book our Puppy Charm School  program to get puppy a head start to crate and scheduling?  2-4 week programs available so puppy can go home within the socialization period and bond with you!
  • If bringing puppy home without Puppy Charm School training, prepare to follow our Schedule for Success in the Human's Guide to the Dog Galaxy course to help you learn how to bond with your puppy through daily purpose driven activities and our schedule.  We follow a balanced approach with a focus on relationship and leash training/ bonding first, before formal obedience work.   Our program will walk you through the process!

Prepare for success! Having a game plan in advance distinguishes successful families from those facing transition challenges. Puppies may cry, bite, and have accidents, among other things. By anticipating and knowing how to address these issues beforehand, you'll feel empowered and ready! Upon bringing your puppy home, you'll receive our New Puppy Care Packet with written instructions for success. We've outlined everything you need to become your puppy's pack leader. Now, it's up to you to make it work. Every aspect of puppy raising is detailed to ensure your success.
